By accessing or using L.I.F.E Platform ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Service Description
L.I.F.E Platform (Learning Individually from Experience) provides neuroadaptive AI coding assistance with:
- Real-time cognitive load monitoring via EEG (Copilot tier)
- Venturi 3-gate neural processing (Gate 1/2/3 efficiency optimization)
- GitHub Copilot integration for enhanced code suggestions
- Personal learning dashboards with velocity tracking
- Organizational KPI dashboards with RBAC (Enterprise tier)
3. Subscription Tiers & Billing
Early Bird Tier - $19/month LIFETIME
- 14-day free trial
- Full platform access

Regular Beta Tier - $29/month
- 14-day free trial
- Session management & optimization
- 100,000 API calls/month
- Email support (48-hour SLA)
Enterprise Tier - $149/user/month
- Unlimited API calls
- Custom models & multi-tenant isolation
- SSO/SAML, organizational dashboards
- Priority support (4-hour SLA)
Copilot Tier - $499-1,499/month
- EEG hardware included (OpenBCI or Emotiv)
- Real-time neuroadaptive optimization
- Full 14-equation pipeline
- 24/7 support (1-hour SLA)
Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly via GitHub Marketplace. You may cancel anytime from your GitHub account settings.
4. Privacy & Data Protection
- EEG data NEVER shared with third parties, managers, or leadership
- Code content private by default - Only performance metrics visible to leadership
- Opt-in code sharing - User-controlled with time-limited access for mentoring
- GDPR compliant - ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2 in progress
- Data retention - Individual: view-only (no storage), Professional: 30 days, Enterprise: 1 year, Copilot: 24-hour EEG + permanent neural profiles

5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Share your API key or credentials with unauthorized users
- Attempt to bypass rate limits or security measures
- Use the Service to develop competing products
6. Intellectual Property
Your Code: You retain all rights to code you submit to the Service. L.I.F.E Platform only processes your code to provide optimization services.
Our IP: The Service, including Venturi 3-gate system, 14 neural equations, and neuroadaptive algorithms, are proprietary to L.I.F.E Platform.
Open Source: VS Code extension is open source (MIT License). Core platform remains proprietary.
7. Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Individual: Best-effort availability (no SLA)
- Professional: 99.5% uptime guarantee
- Enterprise: 99.9% uptime guarantee (custom SLA available)
- Copilot: 99.9% uptime + 24/7 support
Downtime Credits: If we fail to meet SLA, you receive service credits (1 day credit per 1 hour downtime).
8. Termination
By You: Cancel anytime from GitHub Marketplace. Access ends at end of billing period.
By Us: We may terminate for violations of Terms, with 30 days notice (immediate for severe violations).
Data Export: You have 30 days post-termination to export your data via API.
9. Limitation of Liability
L.I.F.E Platform provides the Service "AS IS" without warranties. We are NOT liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages exceeding fees paid in last 12 months
Enterprise Indemnification: Enterprise tier includes legal indemnification up to $1M for platform-related claims.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms with 30 days notice via email and GitHub Marketplace notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance of new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Disputes subject to exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
